If you haven’t experienced Idaho Film Society’s ‘Dinner & A Movie’ events, this is the time! Enjoy a lovely meal from Chef Pedro before grabbing a seat in the theater for Jonathan Demme’s Oscar-winning masterpiece, Silence of the Lambs.
SOFIA KOURTESIS
Sofia Kourtesis is a Peruvian-born, Berlin-based producer, DJ, and activist whose music draws from her Latin American roots and Berlin’s club culture. Sofia will be joined by local DJs, SOOT and Horchatta. Don’t let the Sunday scaries, work night fears, or any other reason stop you from joining the party! See you there!

MEET US AT THE SPOT. Kick off October with a night of dancing with Lobo Lara at the Funky Taco on Saturday the 4th at Exhibit B.
This concert series that teams up with local restaurants and event venues to showcase Idaho artists in a three act lineup.
SIP & PAINT WITH MIGUEL ALMEIDA
Boise’s Best Art & Craftsmanship member, Miguel Almeida is teaming up with Cultura y Pintura to host a Paint and Sip to support PODER Idaho. Miguel is a local artist from Idaho who has made a name for himself with a residency with The Common Well, commissioned murals around town, and his original skateboard company RaÍces.
HUDSON POWDER COMPANY @COTTONWOOD PARK
It’s not summer if you don’t make it to an outdoor show and lucky for you, you can check two summer bucket list items off with this one.
Hudson Powder Company is performing at the Cottonwood Park installment of the city’s Neighborhood Concert Series. It’s entirely free, all ages, and you can grab a beverage or quick bite from a variety of food trucks.

Ellie Saunders presents Kismet Grooves everyone! You’re going to want to hit up Hap Hap Lounge this Friday, July 11th. This is Ellie’s very own curated DJ lineup and event designed for everyone to have a dance party with their best friends. Not to mention, her DJ debut.
WATER BEAR BAR PRIDE PARTY
Let’s close out Pride with a BANG. Water Bear Bar is coming through with FREE Pride Party. Water Bear Bar is a bartender owned, woman owned, and queer owned cocktail & oyster lounge.
SUMMER GARDEN PARTY
What’s better than dinner and a show! Surel’s Place is hosting Artist-in-Residence Alumnus Andrew Nemr and local musician Justin Nielsen for a summer evening performance. Not only can you experience the show but you can also reserve a Puerto Rican dinner from Wepa with wine by Proletariat Wine Company.
NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERT SERIES
The Neighborhood Concert Series continues at Phillippi Park on Wednesday, June 25. Each concert showcases a different city park and features live music performances. It’s free so grab your friends or family, enjoy the show, and check out local food trucks and vendors.
MUSIC ON THE PATIO
Did someone say beautiful day up at Bogus Basin with live music and food?! Well, here it is! Head up to Bogus Basin on Saturday, June 22nd for a free show above the heat! It’s great way to cool off while still enjoying the great outdoors.
DRAG SHOW
Boise T+ Booking is teaming up with Boise Trans Collective and Mad Swede Brew Hall to put on a Drag Show! This one is going to be a blast. The evening will be hosted by Cookie Pusss and feature Angel Rivera, Chrome, Ahmi Dolla, Val, and Lucy Fore.
TROPICO SOLSTICE DAY PARTY
Meet us at El Tejano for the Tropico Solstice Day Party on June 21st! It’s the longest day of the year and let’s spend it outside.
This is a free event and will feature live music from DJs Poetic, Horchatta, and Ela X.
WORLD REFUGEE DAY CELEBRATION
Head to the West Bench Farmers Market on June 19th to celebrate World Refugee Day! Expect live dance and music performances, local vendor pop ups, and a wide array of food trucks to grab a bite from. This is a free and all ages event for the community hosted by the Idaho Office for Refugees.
JUNETEENTH BLOCK PARTY
Did someone say outdoor block party?! Head to the Juneteenth Block Party on Saturday, June 14 for 4 hours of music, dancing, food, and celebration. Juneteenth Idaho is opening a brand new community center as well. So much to honor and be grateful for.
POTLUCK & DRAWING
PSA!!! The Bloom Collective is hosting a potluck and drawing party down at Camel’s Back Park this month on June 11th. Grab your bestie, a blanket, and a snack to share and have a drawing sesh with local artist Dorothy!
